Company Updates Food Storage System

In Feb 2023, IMGS Group was appointed by United Arab Emirates government entities to develop, build, commission, and manage a full-scale agri-commodity food security storage system (grain bunker) with a total planned capacity of over 75,000mt. IMGS Group specializes in bulk cargo logistics, handling, and distribution services. As a part of these services, IMGS helps NGOs and governments in developing sustainable agri-commodity management systems – particularly for food security purposes.

 

For the initial phase of the project, 10,000mt of bulk wheat was secured at the site. IMGS utilized a variety of its fleet of Bulk Cargo Handling Equipment; including various bulk loading conveyors at 18″, 21″, and 40″ meter lengths, dust-suppression hoppers, shovel loaders, and not to mention our dedicated and experienced team members who are on-site 24/7 to ensure the project is a success.  The IMGS team is also responsible for ensuring that the wheat remains in its optimal condition – fit for onward milling.
